Double Pitch Roller Chain
Ranging from 1" to 4" pitch, double pitch chains are designed to be exactly double the pitch of their ANSI or ISO counterpart. For example, the C2080 chain has a 2" pitch, while the #80 chain has a 1" pitch. The purpose of this is to create a chain that is more economical and lightweight over an extended length. Our double-pitch roller chains are made using enhanced features such as; solid bushings, solid rollers, and quad-staked rivets. The combination of a solid roller with a solid bushing dramatically enhances the chains' performance and working life, while the quad-staked rivets improve the chains' shock load capability and occasional side-load.
We offer four different styles of double-pitch chains; the "C" series, the "C" series with oversized rollers, the "A" series, and hollow pin. The most common C-series double-pitch chains are made specifically for conveying applications, they come standard with a straight sidebar for an added mounting capability to the chain and for added support when holding a product on top of the chain. The C-series with oversized rollers are also made specifically for conveying applications, but with the added feature of a roller diameter that protrudes past the sidebar height, this design gives the chain added efficiency by allowing the rollers to move across a surface freely. A-series double pitch chains have a "dog-bone" shaped side-plate; this series is best suited for dive applications.
Single-Strand ANSI Roller Chains
Single-strand ANSI roller chains are also commonly known as simplex roller chains. They consist of a single row of roller chain and can also be designated with a -1 behind the chain size.

Double Pitch Roller Chain With Oversized Rollers
This style of roller chain utilizes an enlarged roller that exceeds the height of the sidebars. The design allows for smooth and easy conveying of product from one point to another, we have specifically designed each size for its intended applications, improving on durability and wear life compared to other brands.000We carry a wide selection of oversized double pitch roller chains from sizes C2042 to C2162H and pitches ranging from 1.000” to 4.000”. Consult the double pitch roller chain size chart below for all chain dimensions.
