DUROCHAIN C2082H roller chain is designed for medium to heavy-duty conveying applications. It showcases enlarged rollers that exceed the height of the chains' sidebars, making it a perfect mate for almost any conveying application! This highly effective design has become increasingly popular with engineers and chain specialists for its superior wear characteristics and lower energy use. Here at DUROCHAIN, we created a C2082H roller chain different from what's already out there. We achieved this with the combination of testing, application data, and some of the top minds in the industry. Our C2082H chain set itself apart from others by using a complete solid bushing and unique quad-staked rivets. C2082H chain, in most applications, holds loads on its enlarged rollers; some even refer to this chain as a carrier-style roller chain! Knowing this, we chose to place a solid bushing between the interior surface of the roller and the outer surface of the pin; this is a far superior design compared to the industry standard split bushing. A solid bushing creates an uninterrupted 360-degree smooth surface for the pins and rollers, which not only improves performance but wear life as well; the solid bushing is also capable of supporting higher loads than a split bushing. Regarding quad-staked rivets, our logic was that when weight is suspended between two strands or directly on a chain, increased stress is placed on the rivets that hold everything together. Quad staked rivets double the holding power of the pin-to-plate bond when compared to standard dual staked rivets. On top of these noticeable features, each component constructing this chain underwent specific processes to improve wear life and strength. Finally, our genuine tier one C2082H conveyor chain boasts a minimum breaking load (tensile strength) of 12,500 pounds and is ready to take on any 2082 chain applications! Discover the new class of roller chains on the market today when you choose DUROCHAIN; there's a reason why we bring the "DURO" into a chain.
