The DUROCHAIN 40-4 offset links are made for 40-4 roller chains and showcase industry-leading features for superb performance, durability, and strength! The purpose of a 40-4 offset link is to make easy edits in a 40-4 chain length by adding half-pitch lengths to the chain. Our offset link features a solid bushing, solid roller, and a through-hardened pin. Each component of this 40-4 offset link has been heat-treated and shot-peened for improved fatigue resistance and operating life. Discover the new class of roller chains on the market today when you choose DUROCHAIN; there's a reason why we bring the "DURO" into a chain!

Features

  • Hardened High-Strength Pins -
  • One of the most stressed components in a roller chain is the pins. Of course, this translates over to the offset link of a chain. Here at DUROCHAIN, each pin in our offset links undergoes a specific hardening process to improve wear life, strength, and fatigue resistance.
    • Solid Round Parts -
An offset link is made up of six components: the pin, cotter key retainer, two sidebars, one roller, and one bushing. Our DUROCHAIN offset links utilize solid round parts for improved performance and wear life.
    • High-Strength Cotter -
With an offset link, the cotter key is essential for retaining the sidebars on the link. Our premium cotter prevents breakage and failure by being made from high-quality steel for maximum retaining strength.
