- Thicker Side-Plates -
Heavy roller chain connecting links feature thicker side plates to match the chain and withstand higher torque loads with improved shock load absorption.
Hardened High-Strength Pins - One of the most stressed components in a roller chain is the pins. Of course, this translates over to the connecting link of a chain. Here at DUROCHAIN, each pin in our connecting links undergoes a specific hardening process to improve wear life, strength, and fatigue resistance.
- Max Countour Sideplates -
Precision made from AISI steel alloy and hardened to a specific HRC, our unique max contour side plates provide the highest shock load absorption and most extended wear life! The unique design adds additional material to the plate while maintaining the dimensional requirements of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). DUROCHAIN max contour side plates add strength and wear life to their accompanied chain assembly compared to the standard side plates used by other tier-one chains.
- Unique Rivets -
On a connecting link, these unique rivets provide superior holding power and high side load capacity. Coupled with a high-grade spring clip for retaining on the opposing side, our connecting links are designed to withstand demanding applications.
- Superior Plate Hole Preparation -
Regarding the actual holes in the plates, our superior set of processes (precision piercing, shaving, and ball drifting) make our links easy to install and uninstall. Additionally, this provides the smoothest and best pin-to-plate contact possible.
- High-Strength Cotter -
With a cottered connecting link, the cotter keys are what hold the link together. Our DUROCHAIN cottered connecting links utilize premium high-strength cotter keys to ensure strength and prevent premature link failure due to a cotter failure.
